In my senior year I participated in a research seminar on climate change adaptation and produced a documentary film, my first, on the seriously vulnerable country Kiribati and their struggles to adapt to climate change. That seminar introduced me to the topic of climate change adaptation and I have since gone on to work in the field on women’s adaptation to climate change and now studying the topic in graduate school. The classwork at SLU with Dr. Rosales and the research on adaptation put me on a career path I could not otherwise imagine.
